Each Llywydd brings their own unique personality and focus to the role. The Llywydd of the Fifth Senedd was the Plaid Cymru Member, Elin Jones, and her three priority areas were:
- Making the Welsh Government more accountable to the Senedd and the people of Wales.
- Making the work of the Senedd more relevant and topical by transforming the way in which we share information.
- Maximising capacity and strengthening the Senedd by putting the people of Wales at the heart of its decision making.
