Gareth
was born in Cardiff and was educated at Radyr Comprehensive School.

Gareth
was trained as a newspaper reporter and worked on local newspapers. He then had
a variety of jobs in various fields ranging from administration to casual
labouring.
Political history

was first elected to the Assembly in May 2016.
In
November 2019, Gareth left UKIP and became an Independent Assembly Member.
