The following is a proposal for a Member Bill tabled during the Sixth Senedd:

Title of the proposed Bill:

Tackling Homelessness (Wales) Bill

Policy Objectives of the proposed Bill:

The Bill would make provisions for targets and policies to reduce homelessness in Wales.

The purpose of this Bill would be to:

1. Appoint a Homelessness Commissioner;
2. Guarantee funding for the Housing Support Grant for a period of at least three years.
3. Enshrine in law, a commitment to end rough sleeping in Wales by 2030.
