Community Benefit Assessment Bill

Policy Objectives of the proposed Bill:

To require developers of large energy projects to prove the community benefit of renewable energy developments by introducing a community benefit scheme as part of the planning process. (Similar to the requirement to carry out an Environmental Impact Assessment)
