The Senedd Commission has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading people management organisations by gaining Investors in People Platinum accreditation.
Manon Antoniazzi, Chief Executive said:
"The award reflects the excellent one team ethos of the entire organisation, the work each and every one put into showcasing what was truly demonstrative of the pride and passion we have, and I am thrilled for everyone who has worked so hard to achieve this."
The Commission has been a Gold-level IiP for a number of years, but Leadership Team agreed late last year to try for the Platinum Level. To achieve Platinum Rating requires an organisation to be rated "high-performing" across 7 of the 9 areas assessed by IiP. The IiP Platinum accreditation is the highest accolade that can be achieved and is currently held by only 2% of IiP accredited organisations. The Senedd Commission joins just 10 other organisations in Wales with platinum status.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said:
"We'd like to congratulate the Senedd Commission. Platinum accreditation is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places the Senedd Commission in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people."
IiP assessors rated the Commission based on a staff survey, portfolio of evidence, with staff from across the organisation attending workshops, interviews and focus groups.
Lowri Williams, Head of HR, who led the application thanked the staff who contributed to the award. She said:
"So many staff helped us with this, they gave so much of their time to be interviewed, even during those particularly strange early weeks of lockdown. Thank you all for supporting the process so enthusiastically, and I’m grateful to my HR team who have done much to support the process and design new initiatives."
The IiP accreditation lasts for three years.
