The Café
Sit back and enjoy the brilliant views of Cardiff Bay while enjoying a coffee! Our café offers a range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes, and snacks.
Where possible we cater for all dietary requests. Please speak to a member of staff during your visit who will be happy to help, or contact us if you have a specific query before your visit.
Family Friendly
The Senedd Café is the first and only venue in Wales to have achieved accreditation from the Kids in Museums Family Café Standard. The Family Café Standard is a benchmark that recognises cafés at museums and cultural attractions that are great for families, providing a warm welcome for everyone.
- Breastfeeding and bottle feeding are welcome.
- A Changing Places Toilet and baby changing facilities available.
- The Café offers bottle warming, water top-ups, and highchairs are available.
- Two quiet rooms are available, please ask a member of staff for access to these or if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable.
- We have developed this page to support visitors with autism.
Play Area and Activities
The Senedd has a play area for children complete with toys, sensory play, and a large map of Wales. It is located next to the Café.
Pick up the Senedd Explorer Trail activity booklet for free. Aimed at 5–12 year-olds, the trail highlights five important features in the building.
